Jessica Bennett Arbab created Jessica Couture in 2010, basing the brand on the very simple concepts of beauty, elegance, and fine craftsmanship. Jessica established her career in the New York fashion industry, starting in the design rooms of various fashion houses and working New York Fashion Week. Fully immersed in New York's high end fashion industry, Jessica worked in the design houses of Jill Stuart, Proenza Schouler, Beyonce's House of Dereon, the Bahari Group, and Nicolas Caito Atelier. Jessica then moved into designing women's outerwear for DKNY, Via Spiga, Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Sam Edelman, and Circus by Sam Edelman. Jessica Couture was born from an education in Apparel Design at the University of Delaware and Parsons, years of experience in the New York Garment District, a childhood of mastering sewing and tailoring from three generations of seamstresses before her, and a desire to create beauty in the world around her.
